Job summary

axr Recruitment & Search is partnering with a fast-growing energy/digital infra business in Sydney to hire a Senior Treasury Manager overseeing project and asset finance.

This hands-on, operational treasury role backs large facilities and requires building scalable treasury processes as the business scales and matures.

You will manage facilities, cash forecasting, FX and hedging, covenant modelling and treasury systems implementation in collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in corporate treasury, project finance operations or structured finance.
• Experience with project or asset-level financing and covenant testing.
• Strong numerical and reporting skills with a solid financial model background.
• Working knowledge of FX, ISDA confirmations, settlements, hedge accounting.
• Proven ability to implement treasury systems and drive automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities day to day: terms, rate sets, interest accruals, fee amortisation and lender reporting.
• Run the cash waterfall: payments, liquidity transfers, reconciliations and minimum balances.
• Own weekly funding and cash forecasting across project and corporate needs, including FX.
• Manage hedging operations: confirmations, ISDA docs, valuations and hedge accounting support.
• Maintain covenant models and monthly lender/investor reporting for SPVs.
• Oversee bank guarantees, counterparty reporting, KYC and treasury controls.
• Lead treasury system implementation, bank feeds and straight-through processing.
