AA Appointments in Sydney is seeking an experienced Travel Manager to lead a high-performing team of luxury travel professionals. You will mentor consultants, build bespoke itineraries for discerning clients and drive exceptional service.

In this role you will curate international journeys, maximise sales through a consultative approach, develop repeat and referral business, and shape a culture of excellence with strong client relationships and ongoing career development.

THE ROLE

As Travel Manager, you’ll lead, guide and mentor a successful team of travel professionals while ensuring clients continue to receive an outstanding level of personalised service.

Working within the luxury travel market, you and your team will look after experienced travellers with discerning tastes, creating bespoke itineraries to some of the world’s most spectacular destinations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, motivating and mentoring a high-performing travel team
• Supporting consultants to achieve individual and team sales targets and KPIs
• Driving a culture of exceptional customer service and commercial success
• Consulting with clients and creating bespoke luxury itineraries
• Building strong, lasting relationships through personalised service and exceptional communication
• Understanding clients' individual travel styles, interests and expectations
• Curating complex international itineraries and memorable travel experiences
• Maximising sales opportunities while maintaining a consultative, service-focused approach
• Developing repeat and referral business
• Sharing destination and product expertise across the team
• Ensuring every client receives a seamless experience from initial consultation through to their return home

You’ll also have dedicated appointment time with clients, allowing you to provide a highly personalised consultation rather than feeling pressured to rush from one enquiry to the next.
