Job summary

MyCare Talent is seeking experienced Chefs and Cooks for travel contracts across Regional Australia, including aged care environments. Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants need valid working rights in Australia and a current driver’s licence.

Role offers industry-leading pay, free accommodation, travel costs covered, and potential contract extensions. You’ll work across regional sites with support from recruitment and compliance teams throughout your assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or healthcare setting within Australia.
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (Chef positions).
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Chef positions).
• Current Australian driver’s licence and access to reliable transport.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current NDIS Worker Clearance, Yellow Card, WWVP, or WWCC.
• Evidence of 3 COVID-19 vaccinations and current Influenza vaccination.
• Strong understanding of WHS, food safety, and infection control practices.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to new environments.
