Job summary

SA Health in Adelaide is seeking a dedicated medical professional to join our Trauma Service, taking a lead role in trauma assessment and patient care across Level 1 and 2 incidents and working under the guidance of senior clinicians.

You will supervise medical staff, present Level 1 trauma cases at weekly audits, participate in teaching sessions with trauma consultants and fellows, and contribute to ongoing development of the Trauma Service in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervising medical staff and teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Responsibilities

• Attend Level 1 and 2 trauma call-outs and contribute to trauma assessment and patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the trauma booklet and record pre-hospital data for the National Trauma Registry.
• Present Level 1 trauma cases during weekly audits and participate in teaching sessions led by Trauma consultants and fellows.
