Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District's Drug and Alcohol team is seeking a committed Drug and Alcohol Clinician to deliver trauma-informed, person-centred care. You will work with clients facing alcohol and other drug challenges in outreach and integrated settings, within a multidisciplinary team to support recovery, dignity and choice.

Applicants should have tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, OT or Rehabilitation Counsellor and current PACFA/AASW/AHPRA membership or

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, OT, or Rehab Counsellor; PACFA/AASW/AHPRA membership or eligibility.
• Demonstrated experience with clients with drug/alcohol issues and strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional and ethical boundaries in a medically led multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct frontline services to drug and alcohol patients.
• Work within an outreach model aligned with ACM and IDAT care.
