NSW Health is seeking an experienced Psychologist/Social Worker for the Adult Survivors Program at SESLHD. The role focuses on trauma-informed clinical services, assessment, care coordination and counselling for adult survivors of child sexual abuse within an interdisciplinary team.

The Adult Survivors Program is a specialist integrated program for adult survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs. The Adult Survivors Program is a new hybrid strategic and clinical model including sector capacity building, training and education, case consultation, specialist trauma service, outreach and integrated case management in partnership between violence, abuse and neglect, mental health, drug and alcohol, Aboriginal health and community services.
This position will provide support and capacity building across the district as part of an interdisciplinary team as well as provide high quality and in depth levels of trauma informed advocacy and clinical services. Clinical work can include client assessment, care co-ordination, counselling and group work for adult survivors of child sexual abuse consistent with NSW Health and SESLHD policies, procedures and standards. The role also provides strategic systemic advocacy, networking and partnership across the district; including sexual assault, mental health, AOD and Aboriginal health and social services.
