Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia invites applications for a Training Support Developer to design, create and maintain high‑quality instructional materials. You will transform raw technical information into engaging learning content following the ADDIE framework and ensure LMS/SCORM/xAPI compliance.

You will develop e‑learning modules, ILT guides, participant workbooks, and multimedia assets while collaborating with SMEs and managing multiple development projects to tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS).
• Significant experience with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
• Substantial experience with e-learning platforms and animation development.
• Significant experience in a military training environment.

Responsibilities

• ADDIE Lifecycle: Execute all phases, focusing on Development while supporting Analysis and Design.
• Content Development: Create e‑learning modules, ILT guides, workbooks, video scripts, and job aids.
• SME Collaboration: Work with SMEs to translate complex concepts into clear learning content.
• Assessment Design: Build knowledge checks, practicals, and rubrics to measure learning.
• LMS Administration: Upload, test, and maintain assets in the LMS, ensuring SCORM/xAPI compliance.
• Multimedia Production: Build interactive e‑learning using Articulate 360, Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple development projects and meeting deadlines.
• Quality Assurance: Review training materials for grammar, usability and accuracy.
• Continuous Maintenance: Update materials with software changes and feedback.
• Reporting: Report on status, trends and roadmaps for courseware needs.
• RTO: Develop and support LMA RTO products.

The Training Support Developer is responsible to the Training Support Capability Manager for designing, creating, and maintaining high-quality instructional materials following the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) framework.

This role transforms raw technical information and learning objectives into engaging, effective, and scalable training solutions.

This role can either be based at Adelaide or Williamtown.

Key responsibilities

• ADDIE Lifecycle Management: Execute all phases of the instructional design process, focusing heavily on the Development stage while supporting Analysis and Design.
• Content Development: Create e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT) guides, participant workbooks, video scripts, and job aids.
• SME Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather accurate information and translate complex concepts into clear learning content.
• Assessment Design: Build knowledge checks, practical exercises, and rubrics to measure learner performance and training effectiveness.
• LMS Administration: Upload, test, and maintain training assets within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring SCORM/xAPI compliance.
• Multimedia Production: Build interactive e-learning using tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple development projects simultaneously, adhering strictly to timelines and launch deadlines.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of training materials for grammar, formatting, usability, and technical accuracy.
• Continuous Maintenance: Review and update existing training materials and supporting documentation periodically to reflect software updates, policy shifts, or evaluation feedback.
• Reporting: Report on current status, trends and future roadmaps for courseware related requirements
• RTO: Develop and support LMA RTO products
