Job summary

ADVANCED EDUCATION GROUP PTY LTD in Brisbane seeks an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team and deliver training and assessment for the CHC52125 Diploma of Community Services and related courses. You will be responsible for facilitating classroom-based training, assessing competency, and maintaining accurate records to ensure successful student outcomes while meeting ASQA requirements and the Standards for RTOs 2025.

The role emphasises quality and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry qualifications and experience in Community Services and/or Ageing Support.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent current credential.
• Experience delivering and assessing vocational education and training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organisational skills and ability to manage records.
• Ongoing professional development and current industry knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a training team.
• Understanding of competency-based training and assessment principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured and industry-relevant training and assessment.
• Facilitate classroom-based training in accordance with approved strategies.
• Develop a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Assess competency according to assessment requirements and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and outcomes.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
• Identify and support individual learning needs.
• Maintain current industry knowledge and vocational competence.
• Participate in professional development and continuous improvement.
• Ensure training and assessment complies with ASQA requirements and Standards for RTOs 2025.
