Job summary

AKG Australia is seeking a Trainer and Assessor to deliver short courses across Cairns and the Tablelands region. This ongoing casual role offers competitive hourly and day rates, with rosters provided in advance.

You will bring experience in facilitating work-ready skills and digital literacy, sharing real-world workforce insights to support learner success. Travel to different sites, an inclusive approach, and a focus on community outcomes are integral.

Qualifications

• Must hold Cert III in Business or Business Admin (BSB package preferred).
• TAE qualification: TAE40122/TAE40116 incl. TAELLN411 or TAE 401A and TAEASS502/502A/502B.
• Experience delivering work-ready skills and digital literacy training.
• Excellent facilitation and assessment skills within vocational areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and assessment to learners across diverse cohorts.
• Travel to other sites as required and manage rosters in advance.
• Contribute to developing learners' careers and practical workforce readiness.

• Must have Cert III in Business or Business Admin, (preferably trainer with experience with the BSB training Package)
• Relevant qualifications and industry currency
• Willing to travel
• Must hold a current up to date TAE40122 or TAE40116 including TAELLN411 or TAE 401A and TAEASS502 or 502A or 502B
