Job summary

Ternary is expanding its Home Care Workers team in Adelaide, offering a paid traineeship that includes on‑the‑job training and completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care). You will work part-time with guaranteed minimum hours and can accumulate up to 30 hours per week, across shifts Mon–Fri.

Training days are paid, and travel between clients is compensated. Applicants must be available at least 3 days per week, hold or be able to obtain a National Police Check, and have a

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and be reliable.
• Strong communication skills and empathy when assisting clients.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a traineeship.
• Able to work with elderly clients in home settings.
• National Police Check required or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance and light housekeeping (vacuuming, cleaning living areas).
• Assist with bed making and tidying client rooms.
• Shop for weekly groceries and run errands for clients.
• Transport clients to appointments using a personal vehicle.
• Assist with personal care tasks (grooming, showering).
• Provide respite and social support, promoting wellbeing.
