Goodstart Watsonia is seeking a Trainee Educator to start a career in early childhood education. The role involves supporting the classroom team, assisting with program delivery and working toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

You will receive full training funding, competitive pay from $22.75 to $31.36 per hour, and opportunities for permanent employment upon successful completion of studies. This is a full-time, 38-hour-per-week fixed-term contract in Watsonia, VIC.

Qualifications

• Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• Permanent right to work in Australia
• Strong communication skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Flexible availability
• Interest in early years education
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
• Certificate of Completion for National Child Safety Foundation Training (Geccko platform)
• Immunisation proof for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) or willingness to receive
