Job summary

Goodstart Horsham is offering a Trainee Educator position in a part-time 30 hours per week, 18-month fixed term contract. Pay ranges from $26.00 to $33.46 per hour plus superannuation and benefits.

You will pursue a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, supported by a Centre Leadership Team and educators, to launch your childcare career and potentially gain permanent employment after completion.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• Permanent right to work in Australia.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Interest in early years education.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Immunisation against Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) or willing to receive.

To be eligible for a Traineeship you are not able to hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificateother than in childcare will still be eligible.

In addition, you must have:
