Job summary

The Hospitals Contribution Fund Of Australia Limited (HCF) invites applications for a 12-month Traineeship in Dental Assisting in New South Wales. You'll gain hands-on experience across instrument sterilization, clinical setup, patient greeting and records, and you’ll receive a competitive salary during the program.

Classroom training via TAFE is included, with course fees fully covered by HCF. On completion, you’ll earn a recognized Certification and be positioned to support dental teams with

Job description

Program / role overview

Duration: Our comprehensive traineeship program spans 12 months, during which you will receive hands-on training and valuable industry insights.

Paid Learning: We understand that learning is a two-way street, and that's why we offer a competitive salary to our trainees throughout the program.

Skill Development

• Instrument sterilization
• Maintaining a clean and healthy clinical environment and preparing rooms for treatment
• Patient care management: greeting and meeting patients, making follow-up appointments and entering patient details into records

Classroom Training

Alongside practical training, you will attend informative classroom sessions to expand your theoretical knowledge of dental healthcare. This is provided through TAFE. Course fees are fully covered by HCF.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a recognized certification, enhancing your employability in the dental field.

About you

We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, initiative and the ability to think ahead to provide seamless support to our Dental teams.

To be successful you will have:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
