Job summary
Casino Food Company in Casino NSW is seeking a Trainee Boiler Attendant to join our Maintenance team. This role offers training and support to develop skills for operating and maintaining boiler systems in a large-scale food manufacturing environment.
You will work rotating shifts with overtime, assist tradespeople, and prioritise safety, teamwork and continuous development while contributing to reliable plant operations.
Qualifications
- Must be reliable and motivated with a positive attitude.
- Commitment to workplace safety and be willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and openness to learning new systems.
- Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including weekends and overtime.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate boiler, steam and hot water systems.
- Assist with operation and monitoring of refrigeration plant equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and system checks.
- Test and monitor boiler water treatment and chemical systems.
- Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping activities.
- Assist tradespeople with maintenance tasks and projects.
- Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
