A family-owned automotive business in Hervey Bay is seeking an Automotive Parts Interpreter to manage stock and provide exceptional customer service. Overview

On a daily basis, an Automotive Parts Interpreter collaborates with the Service Department to ensure the correct parts are supplied and allocated and that stock levels are maintained and readily available to service customer orders.

Full training provided for an enthusiastic trainee, wanting to kick-start or grow an exciting and fast‑paced career in the automotive industry!

Role Responsibilities
  • Administration and database stock management
  • Managing stock, picking and assigning to orders as required
  • Providing advice of parts required for service and repairs
  • Customer interaction and exceptional customer service
  • Determining customer requirements and assisting in the selection of solutions, advising pricing and warranty expectations
  • Managing parts to complete customer orders within required timeframes
  • Building and maintaining relationships to encourage repeat business
About You
  • Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
  • Computer skills and tech savvy
  • Customer service confidence and experience preferred
  • Mechanically minded
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stock control or inventory management will be highly regarded
  • Physically fit for regular lifting and moving of parts and accessories
  • Reliable and committed to a full‑time role
  • Well‑presented and proud of your professionalism
  • Able to survive and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
