Job summary

SLR Consulting in Sydney seeks a Traffic & Transport Consultant with 1-4 years' experience. Work across transport projects for private sector, regulatory and government clients across Australia and internationally. Hybrid working at our North Sydney office with mentoring and evolving responsibilities.

Degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning is preferred; strong modelling skills (SIDRA/AIMSUN/VISSIM) and software experience are required. Flexible full-time role; part-time considered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or related field.
• (1-4 years of traffic/transport engineering experience encouraged).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with development assessment, transport planning, construction traffic management, or microsimulation.
• Proficiency in traffic modelling and design software (SIDRA, AIMSUN, VISSIM, AutoCAD, AutoTurn or RapidPlan).

Responsibilities

• Deliver traffic/transport analyses, plans and reports.
• Develop skills to present to private clients and public agencies.
• Build client and stakeholder relationships with senior support.
• Support project management and delivery across private, regulatory and government clients.
