Job summary

iStaff Australia is seeking a Traffic Controller/Labourer to support traffic management and operational crews across multiple worksites. When traffic duties are not required, assist other crews and perform general labour tasks.

The role involves operating a traffic management ute, setting up controls, and transporting tools to different sites. Applicants should be physically fit, hold a White Card and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Traffic management experience or implementation duties.
• Valid White Card.
• A valid Driver's Licence.
• Own transport is required; depot not accessible by public transport.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
• Comfortable working around sewer, stormwater and wastewater environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a traffic management ute and set up traffic controls.
• Manage traffic and pedestrians around active work zones.
• Travel to various work locations as required.
• Assist vacuum and jetter crews when traffic duties are not required.
• Load/unload hoses, tools and equipment.
• General labouring, site preparation and clean-up.
• Follow all safety and site procedures.
