TS Global invites applications for a Trades Assistant to join the Site Services team in Mackay, QLD. You will support tradespeople with maintenance, repairs and installation work on conveyor systems within the mining and industrial sectors.

The role offers a four-day working week, a practical hands-on environment and a chance to work alongside experienced tradespeople who prioritise safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.

Competenze

• Must hold current site tickets and medical as listed.
• Experience as a Trades Assistant in mining or industrial maintenance is valued.

About the role

You will assist our tradespeople with day-to-day site work, prepare tools and equipment, handle materials and help maintain a safe, organised work area. The role suits someone who enjoys physical work, follows instructions and takes pride in getting the job done properly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with conveyor maintenance, repairs and installation activities.

• Preparing and safely handling tools, equipment and materials.

• Supporting site crews to complete work safely and efficiently.

• Maintaining housekeeping and following site safety requirements.

What you’ll bring

You will have a strong work ethic, a practical approach and the ability to work well within a team. Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, particularly around conveyors, mining or industrial maintenance, will be highly regarded.

You must hold the following current tickets and medical:

• Standard 11.

• Coal Board Medical.

• Working at Heights.

• Confined Space.

An MR truck licence is desirable, but is not essential.
