Job summary

Reece Group’s Waterloo Plumbing branch is hiring a Branch Assistant to help plumbers and tradespeople access products and keep the branch running smoothly.

You’ll handle customer service, quotes, pick packing, stock control, and safe, friendly store operations, with occasional deliveries using a company vehicle. This role offers on-site work with training, weekend shifts, and opportunities to grow within the national network.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or leadership is preferred.
• Willing to learn new computer systems.
• Clean, valid driver’s licence required.
• Able to work weekends.
• Growth mindset with a desire to develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and information about products.

About the role

As part of the Branch Staff team at the Waterloo Plumbing branch, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and undertake other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

A typical day involves:

• Providing customer service and information about products
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

• We're looking for people with leadership potential and a growth mindset.
• Has previous experience in retail sales or leadership and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Can use a computer and is happy to learn new systems
• Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends
