Job summary

Clough Limited is seeking a Trade Assistant to join our SMP team on the Project Ceres site in Karratha. This hands-on role supports trades across site and helps with construction and maintenance activities on a major Western Australia project.

You will assist boilermakers, pipe fitters and mechanical fitters, handle materials, operate basic tools safely and contribute to safe, efficient site operations. FIFO experience and a valid Australian White/Blue Card are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Construction White/Blue Card and safety credentials.
• FIFO experience on a major construction project is preferred.
• Able to complete a pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol screening.
• Must have full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist trades with general SMP construction and maintenance activities.
• Support boilermakers, pipe fitters and mechanical fitters as required.
• Handle materials, tools and equipment across site.
• Assist with installation, assembly and dismantling activities.
• Perform general labouring, manual handling and housekeeping duties.

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

About the role:

We are seeking a Trade Assistant to join our SMP team on a large-scale construction project. This is a hands on role supporting trades across site and assisting with a range of construction and maintenance activities.

• Assist trades with general SMP construction and maintenance activitie
• Support boilermakers, pipe fitters and mechanical fitters as required
• Handle materials, tools and equipment across site
• Assist with installation, assembly and dismantling activities
• Perform general labouring, manual handling and housekeeping duties
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely
• Follow all site safety procedures and requirements

What you will bring to the team:
