Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking Trade Assistants to support builders, landscapers, manufacturers, shopfitters and industrial businesses in the region. Earn $35.11 per hour + 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance with immediate start and regular weekly pay.

The role offers ongoing casual assignments with opportunities for permanent placements. Minimum 12 months’ experience and Construction White Card are required; a current Driver Licence is highly preferred and physical work is a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials.
• Digging and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials.
• Packing and stacking.
• Assembling products.
