Job summary

Aston Advantage is hiring a Trade Assistant for our Queensland engineering team, supporting Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers on workshop and site projects in Tingalpa. VISA holders are welcome if you have at least 6 months of work rights left in Australia.

Earn $36–$38 per hour with penalty rates, enjoy 8–10 hour days, and access consistent overtime on a growing workload with potential for permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Previous Trade Assistant experience.
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) - Essential.
• Physically fit and capable of hands-on work.
• Reliable transport.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers.
• Operating forklifts and dogging equipment.
• Supporting fabrication, maintenance and installation work.
• Loading, unloading and moving materials safely.
• Using hand and power tools.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
• Following site safety procedures and inductions.
