Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking Trade Assistants and General Labourers for ongoing casual work across construction, landscaping, warehousing and shopfitting. Earn from $35.11 per hour plus super and a $22 daily travel allowance with immediate start and weekly pay.

You’ll work on diverse sites, perform tasks such as site prep, lifting, wheelbarrowing, digging, and assisting qualified tradespeople. Requires minimum 12 months’ experience, Construction White Card, and a valid driver licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card required.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Support tradespeople on site and assist with general labouring duties.
• Site preparation and clean-up, wheelbarrowing, digging and trenching.
• Lifting, carrying and packing materials; assist with tasks across industries.
• Maintain safe conditions and comply with site PPE requirements.
• Unloading containers and assisting with on-site organisation.
