Job summary

MACA is seeking a Trade Assistant to join the Gruyere Project Maintenance Team. The role is based in Western Australia with a 14/7 roster and opportunities for both full-time and casual conditions.

Ideal candidates will hold Rigging, Dogging, Crane Ticket (C6 or higher), Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights and Forklift tickets, with prior trade assistant and Franna Crane Operator experience. Safety-minded, independent workers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Rigging, dogging and crane tickets required.
• Elevated work platform and working at heights tickets essential.
• Forklift ticket and Franna crane operator experience preferred.
• Experience as a Trade Assistant in a mining/open pit environment highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for maintenance and inspection.
• Monitor plant and equipment condition; report leaks and manage fluids.
• Support maintenance teams and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Work independently with a proactive, can-do attitude.
