Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. in Australia seeks a Trade Assistant to join the SMP team on the Project Ceres site in Karratha.

You will assist trades across a large-scale construction project, manage materials and tools, and support installation, maintenance and site housekeeping to keep work progressing safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates have FIFO experience on major projects, a White/Blue Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space, HRWL EWP, and a valid C Class manual licence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role supporting trades across site
• Must hold Construction White/Blue Card and Safe Working at Heights/Confined Space
• HRWL EWP required and a valid C Class Manual Driver's Licence
• FIFO experience on a major construction project preferred
• Previous Trade Assistant or construction experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Assist trades with general SMP construction and maintenance activities
• Support boilermakers, pipe fitters and mechanical fitters as required
• Handle materials, tools and equipment across site
• Assist with installation, assembly and dismantling activities
• Perform general labouring, manual handling and housekeeping duties
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely
• Follow all site safety procedures and requirements
