Job summary

Toolijooa Environmental Restoration is seeking casual Track Construction Crew Members to join our Sydney team. This hands-on role involves building sandstone steps, tracks, timber structures and general landscape construction across the Sydney region, with travel to different sites.

Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, take pride in quality workmanship and want to contribute to restoring and maintaining natural areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape, bushland or walking track construction.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Own transport and reliable means to travel between sites.
• Willingness to travel to different project locations across Sydney/regional areas.

Responsibilities

• Construct sandstone steps and tracks.

About the Role

We are looking for Casual Track Construction Crew Members to join our Sydney team.

You will be involved in a variety of track construction and landscaping projects, including the construction of sandstone steps and tracks, timber structures and general landscape construction works.

Projects will be based across the Sydney region, with travel to different work locations required. Some projects may also involve working in regional areas.

This is a hands‑on, physically active role suited to people who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality workmanship and want to contribute to maintaining and improving natural areas.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have experience in track construction, landscape construction or a similar hands‑on role. Experience is desirable but not essential.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in landscape, bushland or walking track construction.
• Experience using power tools, petrol-powered machinery and construction equipment.
• An interest in sandstone construction, timber structures and landscaping.
• A willingness to work outdoors and travel to different project locations.
• A passion for the Australian bush and natural environment.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual work.
• A current General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Your own reliable transport.
• A strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to work 4-5 days during the week.
