Job summary

Qantas Group in Melbourne – Tullamarine seeks a Tooling Maintenance Technician to service, maintain and repair aircraft tooling within an asset management framework. You will work with manufacturer guidelines and the MXI system to ensure tooling is safe and operational.

Key responsibilities include coordinating tooling repairs to minimise downtime, identifying maintenance trends and contributing to safety initiatives under the Qantas S.A.F.E framework.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade certificate or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft tooling or plant and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to interpret manufacturer maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair aircraft tooling and equipment within an asset management system framework.
• Coordinate tooling repairs to minimise operational impact.
• Identify maintenance trends and contribute to safety initiatives under the Qantas S.A.F.E system.
