Job summary

Slattery & Acquroff Holdings in Braeside, VIC, is seeking a hands-on Machine Shop Labourer to join the Braeside team from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will help prepare timber components for our custom staircases and ensure they are ready for the next production step.

Reading plans, selecting timber, laminating components for wood and CNC machinery, and maintaining clean, safe work areas are part of your daily responsibilities. Forklift licence desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Labouring experience preferred.
• Timber, building, or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Reading plans and cutting lists.
• Selecting and preparing timber materials.
• Laminating components for wood and CNC machinery.
• Ensuring jobs are complete and ready for the next department.
• Keeping work areas clean and safe.
• Assisting with general factory duties as required.
