Job summary

Akd Softwoods is seeking a committed Forklift Driver for despatch at our Caboolture sawmill. The role handles loading finished timber packs onto trailers and ensuring accurate scanning and paperwork. You will locate and prepare loads per load sheets, contributing to efficient distribution.

The position is full-time, 38 hours per week, with a weekday roster from 6:00am to 2:06pm. Level 4 progression to Level 5, with pay approximately AU$32–AU$34 per hour.

Qualifications

• Forklift driving experience is essential.
• Accurate loading and scanning of packs.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load finished timber packs onto trailers for distribution.
• Ensure packs picked are correctly scanned and paperwork is completed accurately.
• Locate and retrieve packs according to load sheets.
