Job summary

Rashi Joshi in Fremantle, WA is seeking a hands-on operator to join our diverse team. You will drive and operate a manual tilt tray tow truck, performing accident, breakdown and roadside work, plus some yard duties.

Job description

Looking for a new operator to join our diverse team. You will be required to drive and operate a manual tilt tray tow truck and complete accident, breakdown and roadside jobs as well as some yard work. All training is provided on the job. You must have:

• Minimum MR truck licence (please do not apply if you only hold a C class car licence as you cannot drive the truck on this licence)
• A current police clearance
• Can do attitude with a willingness to learn new skills You must also be able to speak clear, fluent English as part of the job role is to convey safety instructions to members of the public.

People with the following will be looked upon favourably

• Experience (including hobbies) working with cars
• Ability to legally park an 8 meter truck at their home address
• Have experience driving a heavy/large vehicle in the metro area
• Have their forklift ticket
• The hours can be flexible for the right person and/or we will consider a job share role. Ideally we are looking to cover Mon-Fri, with the possibility to work extended hours if when we have a higher work load or if you are willing to take on more yard work, and on call shifts overnight and weekends. This can be a physically demanding position, it is not just a ‘truck driving’ role so please take this into consideration when applying.
