Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst to support AI training by analyzing real-world campaigns, attacker behavior, and threat reports to improve model understanding and resilience.

Remote hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week, you will evaluate indicators, validate data, and help translate threat intel into AI-ready insights that reflect practical adversary activity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or cybersecurity research.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection, or CTI workflows.
• Ability to distinguish realistic attacker behavior from noise or fabrication.
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
• Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior.
• Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy.
• Help generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data for AI training.

Your expertise in campaigns, TTPs, and threat reporting will directly shape how AI understands, analyzes, and communicates cyber threats — making a meaningful impact on the security of tomorrow's AI systems.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior
• Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and realism
• Help generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and assess AI systems
• Review AI-generated threat intelligence outputs and flag inconsistencies, errors, or fabricated data
• Apply your field experience to ensure AI reasoning reflects how threats are actually tracked and communicated in practice

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or cybersecurity research
• Solid familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection, or CTI workflows
• Ability to distinguish realistic attacker behavior from noise, hallucinations, or synthetic artifacts
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills
• Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience writing or reviewing structured threat intelligence reports (e.g., STIX/TAXII, ISACs)
• Familiarity with specific threat actor groups, malware families, or intrusion campaigns
• Background in red teaming, incident response, or digital forensics
• Prior experience with AI evaluation or data labeling workflows
