Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a seasoned SOC/IR professional to join our Unit 42 team in a critical incident response role. You will analyze threat alerts from Cortex XDR and contribute to rapid remediation with a collaborative, cross-functional security org.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a multi-tier SOC/IR, hands-on Cortex XSOAR or XDR experience, and strong English communication. This role emphasizes in-person collaboration with flexible arrangements where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a multi-tiered SOC/IR is a must.
  • Experience with technologies such as EDR, SIEM, SOAR, FW.
  • Familiarity with attack trends and vectors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Some degree of Malware Analysis or equivalent military experience is an advantage.
  • CEH / CompTIA CYSA+ certifications are an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with Cortex XSOAR or Cortex XDR is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Join a new emerging team that will be part of Palo Alto Networks Unit 42, working closely with global customers to provide top security.
  • Own an incident lifecycle from outbreak to full remediation.
  • Provide feedback to product, research, engineering and threat hunting teams to improve products for the customer base.
  • Collaborate with Security Research, Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting teams to remediate and detect new threats.
