Life Without Barriers is seeking experienced Therapeutic Residential Care Support Workers to join our teams in Geelong. You will work directly with young people in a 24/7 residential setting, supporting their wellbeing and development in a nurturing environment.

The role requires handling complex behaviours and disabilities, rotating shifts including afternoons, evenings and sleepovers, with weekend work. Training and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with young people in residential care is essential.
• Willingness to complete Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or already in progress.
• Current Senior First Aid or willingness to obtain it.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day care, supervision and transport to children and young people.
• Follow fortnightly rotating shift rosters including sleepovers and active nights.
• Develop, implement and monitor individual plans for each young person.
• Maintain progress notes and report writing.
