Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Australian Nursing and Midwinary Board registration.
• Minimum 12 months acute nursing experience.
• Previous operating theatre experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality and patient-centred nursing care in the Scrub/Scout role.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using an evidence-based approach.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, colleagues and other health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to quality improvement, audits, safety initiatives and service development within the theatre environment.
