Job summary

The Lottery Corporation is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our retail technology team across Australia. You will help embed quality through automation within a cross-functional squad, driving testing across APIs, UI and data layers.

You will design, build and maintain automated test frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and support a quality-first engineering culture to power our games and services for customers, retailers and communities.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, WebDriver IO or similar automation tools.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps and modern software delivery practice.
  • Experience with SQL and back-end testing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability.

Responsibilities

Play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of the retail technology platforms that support our lottery products across Australia. Working as part of a cross-functional squad, you'll help embed quality throughout the development lifecycle through automation, continuous testing and modern engineering practices.
