• Monitor and analyze test execution results, investigate defects, and collaborate with teams to efficiently resolve issues.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to the QA team regarding automation and the use of Playwright.

Job description

As a Test Automation Engineer at Finsure, you will report directly to the Head of Technology. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks that are essential for ensuring software quality and reliability.

As part of an exciting new project, you will build a test automation framework using PlayWright. A crucial aspect of this is fostering close collaboration with developers, test analysts, business analysts and DevOps. Additionally, you will support team members to enhance their automation skills, improving the overall testing process.

The ideal candidate will have a background working within agile delivery models and have extensive experience across various testing methodologies. This role requires expertise in automating back-end APIs, front-end applications and end-to-end testing.

Expertise using Playwright for front-end testing is essential. Additionally, experience with Cucumber for behaviour driven style tests and SuperTest for testing APIs, will be highly regarded.
