Job summary

PowerData Group is seeking an experienced Test Analyst for the Northern Territory Police Force Digital Transformation program, based in Darwin, Australia. The contract is 6 months initially, with potential extension, and involves planning, designing, executing, and reporting testing activities across multiple initiatives to support policing capability and community safety.

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing certification.
• Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst within medium to large ICT projects.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
• Proven experience developing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience performing functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
• Review business, functional, and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform system, integration, regression, user acceptance, and production verification testing.
• Identify, document, track, and assist with the resolution of defects and issues.
• Prepare and maintain testing artefacts, including traceability matrices, execution reports, and test evidence.
• Validate data quality and support test data preparation and reconciliation activities.

PowerData Group is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support the Northern Territory Police Force (NTPF) Digital Transformation Program on an initial 6-month contract based in Darwin, NT .

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and reporting on testing activities across a range of digital transformation initiatives that support policing capability, community safety, and organisational effectiveness. • ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing certification.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
• Proven experience developing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
