A day in the life…

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to manage our retail Impulse customers in Gold Coast, Northern New South Wales, Scenic Rim and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing merchandisers, driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within your assigned territory through winning in store and executing a commercial plan.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Being a team player and working amongst a driven team
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Build strong relationships within your portfolio of customers within the Impulse and Convenience channel.
  • Conduct face‑to‑face meetings with stand‑alone and multi‑site customers to understand their needs, present product offerings and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with wholesalers and internal customer teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.
  • Manage casual merchandisers within your territory.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Cutting in new lines, driving distribution, trade standards and display building.
  • Delivering to cycle priority key performance indicators.
Regional Travel Requirements

You will be responsible for visiting stores, prospects and other stakeholders to build relationships and drive sales growth. The Territory Sales Manager role requires consistent monthly travel within your defined territory, with approximately 2 to 4 nights away from home per month. You will be expected to plan and manage your travel schedule efficiently to maximise productivity and meet sales targets. Attending industry conferences and participating in sales meetings to build relationships and understand how the customer works.

What you will bring

  • Sales and/or FMCG experience preferred – Impulse channel and/or supermarkets including store or department management.
  • Basic Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and PowerBi skills.
  • Outgoing, approachable and passionate about sales, as you manage the territory as if it’s your own business across your various Impulse and Convenience customers.
  • Confident communicator who can adapt communication style.
  • Able to travel and stay away from home every 4 weeks for 2 to 4 nights each trip.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage and plan time effectively.
  • This position requires a valid Full Driver’s License.
  • Willingness to be on the road Monday–Friday within the assigned territory.
  • Applicants must have full working rights for Australia.
  • Applicants will be required to undergo pre‑employment checks or National Police check, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
