Blacktown Tennis Centre Stanhope is seeking a Tennis Instructor to deliver coaching for Tennis Australia Hot Shots, inspect courts, set up activities, and monitor player progress. You will coach players of varying ages and abilities, keeping sessions safe and engaging while communicating progress to parents.
In this casual role you join a supportive team at Blacktown City Council, with an hourly rate around $32.85 plus a 25% casual loading, weekend penalties, ongoing training and 12%

At Blacktown Tennis Centre Stanhope, you deliver coaching that helps players learn the fundamentals of the sport, stay active and feel connected to their local tennis community.
As a Tennis Instructor, you arrive before each session to inspect courts, identify hazards, set up equipment and prepare activities. You coach Tennis Australia Hot Shots and other programs, adapting lessons to suit different ages, abilities and confidence levels. You track attendance, assess player progress and provide clear feedback to parents and carers about development and next steps.
You keep sessions organised, safe and engaging from start to finish. Between classes, you prepare courts for the next group, maintain equipment, answer customer enquiries and share information about tennis programs and services. You work closely with other team members to provide a welcoming experience for every participant.
Every session creates a positive impact. Your coaching helps children develop new skills, improve confidence and enjoy being active. You become part of a supportive team that values professionalism, community service and quality coaching, while providing opportunities to develop your skills and experience in a busy community recreation environment.
