Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking a Placemaking & Services Strategist (Temporary) to provide strategic stewardship across functions and to align with the Community Strategic Plan. The role focuses on delivering connected outcomes, guiding committees, and driving continuous improvement within a collaborative, political environment.

The successful candidate will lead active agile leadership, support the leadership team, and represent One Team while fostering productive relationships.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience coordinating the delivery of high-level strategic strategies/plans with a proven track record.
• Demonstrated strategic, analytical and lateral thinking with ability to translate knowledge into strategies.
• Sound understanding of the economic, environmental and social dynamics relevant to Campbelltown.

Responsibilities

• Provide active agile leadership to the Placemaking and Services leadership team and direct reports.
• Foster strong relationships across the portfolio to create connected outcomes.
• Lead governance through Council committees ensuring collaboration, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
