Job summary

The Nanny Collective in Sydney is seeking a warm, experienced temporary nanny to care for two young boys in Glebe NSW (3 years and 1 year). Schedule includes Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays with potential extra daytime care and evening babysitting in November and December.

You will prepare meals, bottles and snacks, support naps and daily routines, handle nappies, and keep play areas tidy. Plan age-appropriate activities and outings with open parental communication.

Qualifications

• Warm, nurturing, patient and reliable personality.
• Professional nanny/childcare experience with toddlers and young children.
• Ability to care for two children of different ages.
• Sound understanding of early childhood development.
• Reliable availability on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• Non-smoker and excellent English communication.
• Current Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR (including infant) and Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Providing warm, nurturing and attentive care.
• Confidently supervising and caring for both children.
• Preparing and serving age-appropriate meals, bottles and snacks.
• Supporting routines including naps and bedtime when required.
• Nappy changes and maintaining good hygiene.
• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities and play.
• Encouraging exploration and learning through outings.
• Tidying up after meals and playtime; keeping play areas organized.
• Maintaining open communication with the parents about routines and wellbeing.
