Job summary

St Francis De Sales Regional College in Leeton, NSW, is seeking a Temporary Relief Teacher to cover for absent teachers. Your primary responsibilities are to deliver the curriculum material provided by the absent teacher and to provide a duty of care to the students in the absence of the regular teacher.

This role offers a Temporary Full-time teaching position (open to job-share arrangements) commencing as soon as possible until 18 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of classroom teaching experience.
• University degree in relevant discipline with Education qualifications.
• Current First Aid certification.
• NESA Teacher Registration.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
• Commitment to Catholic Education values.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to pastoral care.
• Knowledge of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy.
• Understanding of formative and summative assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum material provided by the absent teacher.
