Job summary

St Hilda's School on the Gold Coast invites applications for Head of Faculty – Technologies. Lead a dynamic team across Engineering, Design Technology, Hospitality, and Creative and Digital Technology to shape curriculum and pedagogical excellence.

You will oversee unit and assessment design, ensure QCAA compliance, mentor staff, and drive an Annual Strategic Plan, while maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment for girls.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading an educational team at secondary level.
• Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA/QA requirements.
• Ability to promote high standards of pedagogy and student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide pedagogical leadership and mentor teachers across Engineering, Design Technology, Hospitality, and Creative and Digital Technology.
• Oversee development of band plans, unit plans, and assessments aligned with national and state requirements.
• Lead the Annual Strategic Plan for the faculty, ensure compliance, and maintain documentation and equipment registers.
