Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BMS Service Technician to maintain and repair building management systems in commercial and industrial facilities across Sydney. This full-time role ensures our clients' systems operate efficiently and reliably.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and energy management systems, implement upgrades, and provide expert customer support. A current driver's license and relevant HVAC/Controls qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BMS/Controls/HVAC technician.
• Strong knowledge of building automation systems.
• Relevant HVAC, Electrical, Controls, or Building Automation qualifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on BMS equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify issues within building automation and control systems.
• Implement system upgrades, enhancements, and modifications as required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, facility managers, and building occupants.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

About Our Role

As a BMS Service Technician for Johnson Controls', you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of building management systems (BMS) in commercial and industrial facilities across Sydney. This full-time role is an integral part of our team, ensuring that our clients' building systems are operating efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on BMS equipment, including HVAC systems, lighting controls, and energy management systems.
• Diagnose and rectify issues within building automation and control systems.
• Implement system upgrades, enhancements, and modifications as required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, facility managers, and building occupants.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

About You

• Proven experience as a BMS, Controls, or HVAC Service Technician.
• Strong knowledge of building automation and control systems.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC, Electrical, Controls, or Building Automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• A current and valid driver's licence.
