Job summary

Roma Ford, a growing Ford dealership in regional Queensland, is seeking a qualified Automotive Technician to join our Service team on a full-time basis. You will perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs, using manufacturer and dealer diagnostic equipment.

This role offers a Monday to Friday roster, a competitive hourly rate, and the opportunity to develop your skills within Eagers Automotive’s national network and recognised training programs.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Ability to perform servicing and repairs safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics.
• Carry out inspections, warranty work, and road tests where authorised.
• Use manufacturer and dealership diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Record work completed, labour, and parts accurately.
• Work collaboratively with Service Advisors, Parts Interpreters, apprentices, and other technicians.
• Follow workplace safety, manufacturer, and quality standards.

As an Automotive Technician, you will complete scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs while working closely with the Service and Parts teams to keep jobs moving safely and efficiently.

What You Will Be Doing

• Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics.

What You Will Bring
