Job summary

Pesthouse Pty Ltd in SE Queensland is seeking a part-time Pest Control & Air Conditioning Technician, trainee or licensed, to start ASAP with potential for full-time hours after probation. You’ll handle pest control and AC cleaning across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan and Ipswich, with a company van and tools provided.

The role offers a supportive team, career progression, and the chance to earn bonuses. Training is provided, and a path from Trainee to Specialist is available.

Qualifications

• Open auto driver’s licence.
• Australian citizen, permanent resident or working visa.
• Physically fit for ladders, roof work and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pest control, termite treatments and inspections.
• Split, ducted, and cassette Air Conditioning deep cleaning treatments.
• Approximately 5–7 jobs per day, varying duration.
• Travel in company van with support from admin & tech team.

Pest Control & Air Conditioning Technician (Trainee or Licensed)

Location: SE QLD (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan, Ipswich) Type: Part-time contract with full time work available immediately until February 2027 (Possible full-time contract available after probationary period) | Closes: 30th Sept 2026 | Start: ASAP

Training & career path

No licence? No dramas. Start as a trainee and we’ll pay for your PMT licence and training. Stick with us for 12 months and climb the career ladder: Trainee → Technician → Specialist.

What you’ll actually do (because no two days are the same)

• Pest control, termite treatments and inspections.
• Split, ducted, and cassette Air Conditioning deep cleaning treatments
• Approximately 5-7 jobs a day, some are 20 minutes, some are a couple of hours, no two days are the same
• Cruise solo in your company van, backed up by our admin & tech legends who check in, call, and cheer you on.

When you’ll work

• 3 day contract with full time hours available if wanted. Happy to work with you Do you want to do a 3 day equivalent of 9am-2pm 5 days a week so you can do school pick up or drop off? or have specific days or hours you would prefer? Happy to create a consistent roster that suits your lifestyle.
• Potential for full time contract if wanted after probationary period is completed.
• Full time work available immediately with the promise of at least 3 days equivalent.
• The opportunity to work a Saturday or longer day if you’d like to earn a little bit extra.
• Jobs from North to South Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan and Ipswich, you need to be comfortable behind the wheel.

• Open auto driver’s licence

• Physically fit: heading up ladders, peaking into roof spaces, lugging equipment up stairs, and still smiling.
• Phenomenal with people: you’re respectful, friendly, love a good yarn, well-presented, and never the reason a customer’s stressed.
