Spheros Australia Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a technically minded Technical Sales & Service Representative to join our hybrid sales and service team, supporting bus and coach air conditioning systems. You’ll combine hands-on technical work with business development and manage your own sales and service pipeline.

Qualifications

• Auto electrical, diesel mechanical, automotive mechanical or HVAC background preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Confident speaking with customers and explaining technical solutions.
• Organise workload and pursue opportunities through the sales process.
• Current driver’s licence required.
• Refrigerant handling licence ideal but not essential.
• Previous sales experience welcome, but technical knowledge and customer approach matter most.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fault finding, servicing and repairs within your qualifications and capabilities.
• Building relationships with bus and coach operators, fleet managers and workshops.
• Identifying opportunities for servicing, repairs, parts and HVAC system sales.
• Finding new customers and growing existing accounts.
• Preparing quotes, following up enquiries and converting opportunities into booked work.
• Managing your pipeline from initial contact through to delivery and ongoing customer support.

For the Gold Coast, we are looking for a Technical Sales & Service Representative

Know your way around vehicles? Ready to take your career into sales? Spheros Australia is looking for a technically minded person to join our Gold Coast team in a hybrid sales and technician role, supporting bus and coach air conditioning systems.

This opportunity suits an auto electrician, diesel mechanic, automotive mechanic or HVAC technician who enjoys working with customers and wants a pathway into sales—with the opportunity to progressively move off the tools as their sales portfolio grows.

About the Role:

You’ll combine hands-on technical work with business development, generating and managing your own pipeline of sales and service opportunities with full support / guidance as required from the QLD Manager.

Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out fault finding, servicing and repairs within your qualifications and capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

• A background in auto electrical, diesel mechanical, automotive mechanical or HVAC work ideally but first and foremost:
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence speaking with customers and explaining technical solutions.
• The ability to organise your workload and follow opportunities through.
• An interest in sales and a willingness to learn.
• A current driver’s licence (Must have)
• A refrigerant handling licence is ideal but not essential. Previous sales experience is welcome, but your technical knowledge, initiative and approach to customers are what matter most.
