Job summary

ITW Construction Asia Pacific, based at the Dandenong South site in Victoria, seeks a Technical & Quality Manager to lead a growing team within Building Solutions Division. You will drive new product development, technical excellence, and quality performance across fasteners and hardware solutions, partnering with product management, sourcing, and major customers.

You will manage product specs, compliance programs and quality systems, while mentoring your team and delivering value through

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading engineering, technical, quality or R&D teams.
• Proven track record delivering new product development and cross-functional projects.
• Strong commercial acumen balancing technical risk with business priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Building products, construction, hardware or manufacturing experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Use insights to inform product development, testing and delivery.
• Develop and manage product specifications, technical data, compliance programs, quality systems and packaging development across the portfolio.
• Lead, coach and develop your team while maintaining a hands-on approach.
• Provide quality and technical support to sales, sourcing and supply chain.
• Drive sustainability, value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives while managing risk, compliance and stakeholder engagement.
