Qantas Airways is seeking a Technical Product Owner for Engineering Digital and Data Products. Based at the Mascot head office, you will lead a portfolio of data-driven products, including maintenance optimisation and the engineering data platform, to improve aircraft availability.

You will guide opportunities from discovery through to scalable production services, embedding safety, security and governance while partnering with engineering leaders and external vendors.

Competenze

• Extensive experience in technology product ownership or product management.
• Proven ability to take products from discovery and proof of value through to production services.
• Vendor-management experience with aircraft manufacturers or enterprise vendors.
• Experience developing data platforms or data products for reporting, analytics, and optimization.
• Exposure to operational technologies such as mobile devices, IoT, RFID, predictive maintenance, ideally in aviation.
• Strong business-case development, benefits realisation, and total-cost-of-ownership governance.
• Ability to embed safety, cyber security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and data governance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder and people leadership skills to drive frontline adoption.
• Degree in information technology, engineering, data, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in aviation maintenance will be highly regarded.
