Job summary

Crawford & Company’s CRD division in Brisbane seeks an experienced Technical Lead / Senior Building Consultant to join our team. You’ll manage a portfolio of matters while providing technical leadership, mentoring and quality assurance to a team of Building Consultants.

Our consultants deliver independent assessments and advisory services for QBCC Home Warranty, handling defects, incomplete works and rectification, while working with homeowners, builders and regulators to drive practical,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in building consultancy or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of NCC, QBCC legislation and standards.
• Proven ability to assess residential defects and rectify.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and technical assessments for QBCC and clients.
• Determine defects, causes and rectification needs.
• Prepare clear technical reports, scopes of work and cost estimates.
• Mentor and support junior Building Consultants and ensure quality.
• Liaise with homeowners, builders, engineers and regulators to achieve outcomes.
